Gathering with women for a retreat or workshop is such a special thing. And I really believe the little details matter - especially what you offer people as they arrive.
Instead of defaulting to wine (or even just plain water), I love serving a soul-nourishing herbal iced tea. It instantly sets the tone for wellbeing, connection, and that “ahhh, I can exhale now” feeling.
And the best part? You can prep it ahead of time, so you’re not running around trying to organise drinks while also holding space.
Here’s the simple recipe I use.
Why Herbal Iced Tea?
Herbal iced tea is light, refreshing, and feels so thoughtful. It’s a beautiful way to welcome your guests without overstimulating their system and it’s perfect for women who are alcohol-free, health-conscious, or simply wanting something that feels clean and nourishing.
Ingredients You’ll Need:
- Water Jug to serve (such as from 1.7L Glass Fridge Jug from Kmart)
- 6 HiBall Glasses (such as 6 Bond Hiball Glasses from Kmart)
- Herbal Tea (High Frequency Flow Botanical Blend)
- Dehydrated Lime Pieces for Garnish (such as these from Garnish Game)
- Certified Organic Agave Syrup ( such as Chef's Choice or Gerard Family Foods)
- Ice
Recipe:
-
Prepare the Tea:
- Boil 1.2L of water in a kettle.
- Once boiled, add 3 tablespoons of Flow herbal tea to a large heatproof jug.
- Pour the hot water over the tea and let it steep for about 3-4 minutes, depending on desired strength.
-
Sweeten the Tea:
- After steeping, allow the tea to cool to room temperature.
- Stir in 1/3 cup of certified organic agave syrup until thoroughly mixed.
-
Serve Chilled:
- Fill each HiBall glass about 3/4 full with ice cubes.
- Pour the cooled herbal tea over the ice in each glass.
-
Garnish:
- Garnish each glass with a slice of dehydrated lime for an extra touch of flavour and visual appeal.
Why I Love Using Flow for Retreats
- Flow is one of my favourite blends for women’s gatherings because it feels soft, feminine, and emotionally calming.
- It’s attuned to 310Hz, which is a frequency connected to loving awareness and presence - perfect for helping women land gently and feel safe in the space.
- It’s also infused with blueberries, hibiscus, rose, blue cornflower, rosehips, currants, and fenugreek - so it tastes light, refreshing, and honestly… just really lovely.
If you’re hosting a retreat or workshop (anywhere - Australia, Bali, wherever), this is such an easy way to elevate the experience and make your guests feel cared for from the moment they arrive.
Cheers to beautiful spaces, women gathering, and little rituals that make a big difference.
Tara x
